粟皇子神社 Awamiko Jinja

Awamiko jinja retains the tradition of offering meals to Yamatohime-no-mikoto.

Located on the cape of the west coast of Ikenoura, Awamiko jinja is the closest jinja to the shore out of all 125 jinja in the Ise Jingu complex. The deity of the jinja is considered to be the guardian deity of the coast. Awamiko jinja retains the tradition of offering meals to Yamatohime-no-mikoto.
