JR Tokai's rapid train

Rapid Train Mie connects Nagoya to Toba via the Kansai Main Line, Ise Railway Ise Line, Kisei Main Line, and Sangu Line.
The JR line's regular trains from Nagoya to Iseshima run via Kameyama, but the Rapid Train Mie runs on the Ise Railway Ise Line from Kawarada Station beyond Yokkaichi to Tsu Station, shortcutting the line itself.
Compared to the regular trains via Kameyama, the Rapid Train Mie is a recommended train that can save a large amount of time due to the difference in distance traveled and not needing to change trains.
