Matsusaka Momen cotton is a fabric with a long history and tradition that became very popular among the common people of Edo (Tokyo) during the Edo period (1603–1868). It is characterized by its chic indigo vertical stripes.
There are several stores in Matsusaka City that offer Matsusaka Momen kimono rentals.
The kimono are easy to wear, as it only takes 3 minutes to put one on over your clothing.
They are available for not only women but men as well, and are recommended for couples!
