Ise, which has long been blessed with an abundance of both seafood and mountain produce, welcomed large numbers of pilgrims from all over the country during the Edo period and thoroughly satisfied their appetites and palates.
Furthermore, its rich natural environment and climate have given rise to products such as “Ise tea,” “Ise takuan,” and “Ise soy sauce,” which have been passed down to the present day as local specialties. At the “Meisan Aji no Yakata,” we offer a wide selection of specialty products from the Ise region.
