Oharai-machi
Oharai-machi is a bustline town just outside of Naiku. Stretching 800 meters just adjacent to Isuzugawa River, its stone paved road is lined with historical architecture giving it a refined yet retro atmosphere. With countless souvenir shops and eateries, its the perfect place to have a light-hearted stroll after paying respects at Jingu. Crossing through the side streets between shops will take you directly to the Isuzugawa River for a refreshing walk.
Okage-yokocho
The historical architecture spanning from the Edo period to the Meiji period in Okage-yokocho lets visitors experience time traveling back to the Edo period, with some authentic buildings relocated to the plaza and some modeled after those days goneby.
In the roughly 4000 square meter plaza, attractive shops are abundant with local cuisine and souvenirs unique to the Iseshima area.
